It is set in intricately engraved geometric motif silver work. The sculptural pendant is suspended from a strand of polished black agate beads, punctuated by small, hand-etched Tuareg silver spacers.

The Tuareg people are famous for their intricate silverwork.  Historically, Tuareg smiths melted down old European silver coins to create jewellery.  Inhabitants of the Sahara regions of North Africa, they are an ancient desert culture known for their resilience, artistry and proud independence.
