S148

A timeless piece showing both craftsmanship and the natural beauty of Scottish agate and gemstones.

A silver bracelet with four unusually cut diamond-shaped stones of green moss and grey banded agates, amethyst and carnelian. These stones are spaced with four small, oval, facet-cut cairngorms.

The silver end caps are of ancient triquerta design. The circular spring clasp, also with a triquerta design, has a safety chain attached on two small loops.

Queen Victoria had a particular liking for Scottish agate jewellery helping it gain popularity during the 19th century.
